Finalmente, as aguardadas nomeações à 98ª edição dos Oscars foram anunciadas hoje, Quinta-Feira, dia 22 de Janeiro, pelos apresentadores Danielle Brooks e Lewis Pullman. Surpreendentemente, este ano passado pertenceu aos blockbusters, nas bilheteiras como na temporada de prémios, com destaque para dois filmes originais de grande orçamento, One Battle After Another – de Paul Thomas Anderson, e Sinners – de Ryan Coogler, ambos produzidos e distribuídos pela Warner Bros.
A cerimónia será apresentada novamente pelo comediante Conan O’Brien, no dia 15 de Março, prometendo uma noite banhada de gargalhadas e ouro.
