As aguardadas nomeações à 96ª edição dos Oscars foram anunciadas hoje, Terça-Feira, dia 23 de Janeiro, através dos apresentadores Zazie Beetz e Jack Quaid, no Teatro Samuel Goldwyn, em Los Angeles, com um misto das habituais surpresas positivas e negativas e uma previsibilidade aconchegante na menção de alguns títulos. Num ano especial preenchido com uma diversidade de géneros particular, destacam-se, entre os nomeados, surpresas internacionais como Anatomie d’une Chute e The Zone of Interest a dominarem várias categorias além de Melhor Filme Internacional, incluindo Melhor Filme e Melhor Realização; obras únicas e peculiares como Poor Things, filmes emocionalmente vastos contudo contidos como Past Lives e The Holdovers e o grandioso fenómeno Barbenheimer, Barbie e Oppenheimer, criando uma das maiores controvérsias destes Oscars com a omissão de Greta Gerwig em Melhor Realização e Margot Robbie como Melhor Atriz.
A cerimónia de entrega será apresentada, novamente, pelo comediante Jimmy Kimmel, no dia 10 de Março, prometendo uma noite absolutamente monumental para esta edição dos celebrados Oscars.
